Clare cooked a delicious lunch for 16 people that we all loved. I had guests from the UK, Japan, NZ and interstate, one of whom is celiac, and the food wowed them all. She delivered everything to my door at exactly the right time, and her professionalism, clear communication, flexibility and attention to detail freed me up to focus on being a good host. Hiring Clare to cater our Engagement Party was the best decision we made! We had a mix of canapés and a grazing table – both were amazing! The grazing table was so beautiful that my fiancé and I spent a lot of time photographing it before the guests arrived. Everyone raved about the canapés (those croquettes were delicious) and the waitress working with Clare was so friendly and remembered who was vegetarian and who had food allergies so she could make sure those guests had access to the right canapés. We had such an amazing day thanks to Clare and we’d hire Chef by the sea again in a heartbeat.

A very big thank you for all that you and your team did on Saturday night to make our event run so smoothly. The food you provided was absolutely delicious, on theme and there was more than enough to go around. Everyone I have spoken to have been so complementary on the girls that were there to help. It was so nice not to worry about topping people’s glasses up, making sure they had eaten enough and then to tidy up and clean throughout the night was a huge godsend the next day. You guys really made our night (and next day) easy and I know a few people who are already saying that next time they have parties they will do exactly what we did. I’ll be sure to recommend you.
